Quality charter
What each member guarantees to the others. It is this charter that gives the network its value.
Last updated: 25 August 2026
The network is built on trust between its members. This charter sets out what each one commits to respect in order to be part of it.
1. Entry criteria
Every application is reviewed manually by the network team. To be admitted, a candidate must:
- Exist legally: registration in its country's travel register (or equivalent), a valid licence.
- Present its guarantees: professional civil liability insurance and, depending on the country, a financial guarantee.
- Demonstrate genuine travel-industry activity: partner references or a verifiable track record; a recent agency may instead present its business and its directors.
- Operate in organised travel: outbound agency or inbound agency (DMCs and tour operators included).
2. Members' commitments
By joining the network, each member undertakes to:
- Respond within 48 business hours to any proposal request received via the network, even to decline it (counted on the contacted member's business days).
- Keep its profile up to date: destinations, specialities, languages, guarantees. An outdated profile misleads partners.
- Act professionally: sincere proposals, consistent pricing, respect for agreements concluded between members.
- Respect confidentiality of exchanges and of the partner agencies' end customers.
- Protect the personal data exchanged, to a standard equivalent to the GDPR.
- Not bypass the B2B framework: no soliciting of another member's end customers. This commitment remains valid for the 12 months following departure from the network.
- Act ethically and responsibly: refusal of any form of exploitation, protection of minors, respect for local communities and the heritage of destinations.
- For inbound agencies: guarantee safe services, vetted providers and assistance reachable by the traveller during their stay.
These commitments do not rest on mere declarations: the responsiveness indicators shown on each profile (response time and rate) are calculated automatically from actual activity on the network. No one writes their own reputation.
3. Right of withdrawal
The network's reliability comes before its size. The Caladeo Connect team may suspend or remove a member that:
- persistently ignores the requests it receives (abnormally low response rate despite reminders);
- loses its registration or its legal guarantees;
- is the subject of repeated, documented reports from other members;
- seriously breaches the ethical commitments of this charter.
Withdrawal is notified to the member and its profile is unpublished. A withdrawn member may reapply after 12 months, providing evidence that the identified breaches have been resolved.
By joining the network, each member signs the full quality charter, which restates these commitments and sets out their legal framework.
